Standard golf swings transfer weight from lead foot to back, then back to lead foot. There is a new type of swing being used on the tour these days. This new swing, called the "Stack-and-tilt" swing keeps most all weight on the lead foot. This causes less body motion. Although there is a lot less power, in theory, this should result in straighter shots.
One of the least discussed but most important elements of the full swing is balance. Not only is a balanced swing nice to look at, it's critical to good ball striking.
Good balance starts from the ground up. Your weight should be evenly distributed on the balls of your feet at address, your knees slightly flexed and upper body bent from the hips. That solid, athletic posture is the key to an "in-balance'' swing.
The kind of club you are using will determine where the ball will be relative to your feet. If you are hitting a driver, the ball should be halfway between your lead foot and the halfway point between your feet. Each shorter club should result in the ball being closer and closer to your back foot, with a sand wedge requiring the ball be positioned slightly behind the midpoint of your feet.
The key to a good downswing is coordinating your hands, shoulders, and hips. Your downswing should involve rotating those parts in that order. Remember, keep your head down and your left arm straight. Also, make sure your turn your wrists over each other to get the clubface back to square when contact is made.

How To Choose Golf Club For Your Game?
Choosing the right club for each golf shot is very important. No matter how well you hit the ball, using the wrong club won't get the result you want. You should remember that different golf equipment caters for different shot. Each club is designed for a particular situation and distance. Cleveland, Callaway, Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade, Mizuno and Nike are all excellent golf club brands.
A regular golf set is 14 clubs, including woods 1, 3 and 5, irons 2 through 9, pitching wedge, sand wedge and putter. Driver is usually the first club out of the bag on the tee. Fairway wood usually improves a golfer's accuracy and allows golfer to loft the ball higher. Iron club is definitely riding on the edge of technology and getting less expensive. Putter is a club that has certainly gone high technology.
Tips:
1 Figure out how fast you hit the ball. Because the speed you hit the ball will tell you what type of shaft flex you need in a club. There are different degrees of shaft flex depending on whether you have a powerful swing.
2 Get to know how you hit each club. Usually, amateur golfers hit their woods and irons shorter distances than professional golfers. You can borrow one or two clubs from a friend. The shortest iron or a wedge is the best club to start. Practicing with it will give you the feeling of hitting the ball in the air and should be fairly straight forward. Learn your own strengths and limitations with your clubs, and stick to what you can actually do.

What do you think about the new Taylormade Tour Burner?
I don't have a lot of experience with the new Taylormade Tour Burner, but I have hit it. It felt amazing and gave me confidence to just swing the dang thing. Played with 18 holes, and it performed very well. When I was looking to replace my R7 SuperQuad with the new Tour Burner but I am not sure about where I can find it so easy. I know if you google your first club from internet, they have a website(online store) where i believe it has the locations throughout the country. Luckily for me, even when they dispatched the item from Asia, where the Taylormade factory locates, I got it within 3 days.
First things first, I get it directly from an online store called ebayoyo. Usually, I placed bids from ebay to get those clubs for junior competitive price. As many have stated, it is a very often to get those non-US equipement golf clubs, (OEM product, japanese domestic whatever) from internet. You know what, when I unpacked the box, nothing strange to look at while addressing the head, the headcover… actually quite a confident look. I have to admit I wasn't crazy about the club from ebayoyo website. I'd say the reason I'm quite happy with the purchase is because their professional service and attractive low price. They even got a 24/7 live help services online, and also telephone support. I guess its possible they provide you the exact right club on your wishlist. Can honestly say the Tour Burner driver is much better than my Superquad 9.5* that I've been playing for the better part of a year. This club will be in the bag for quite some time. Great work, Taylormade.
For those who are interested, eBayoyo Service said the new Tour Burners are scheduled to ship out on August 10th, 2008.

In golf, what's the difference between a "pro shop" and a "links" shop?
This is an excellent set of right handed Mizuno MX-25's, with Exsar IS2 Regular Graphite Shafts and Mizuno velvet grips. All standard specs. There are 7 clubs total (4 thru PW). I special ordered these from Mizuno but have decided on the MX-950's. I would rate these clubs an 8 out of 10. I used them for one season. I would like to get at most $350 plus shipping for them. Anyone???
This was a tough one, I started my search with a number of useful golf websites, but nothing really delineative about the right one I want.
I continued my search by coming to ebay, search on "sports" led me straight to the Recreation > Sports > golf category, there I find a nice golf wholesale information, which offered the following tidbit:
“eBayoyo
Description: eBayoyo online shop provides discount golf clubs, drivers, fairways, irons, accessories, and we guarantee that our products will be of the highest quality available directly from original factories, made of high grade materials, and play with high performance. We make every attempt to increase our customer satisfaction 100%. ”
Finally, we did some searches on "Google" to see if we could track down more information. Our best find, eBayoyo offers the most exacting club I mentioned above,
It looks like you'll have to decide for yourself....
